Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couch surfing because I believe the platform provides a more intimate means of meeting locals and travellers who are open to sharing parts of their lives with strangers. The world needs more sympathy and love among people from different cultures. Websites that let people create relationships themselves is the first step towards a globalized community of understanding. Through CS I hope to meet people from different backgrounds and spend time learning more about their own history and experiences here on Earth. I hope to share my own experiences and knowledge while learning from those around me in interesting places.
I am excited to see more of the world, while taking my time to soak in cultures.
Interests
I am interested in music, philosophy, space, comic books, street art, life itself, questions about why we're here and the meaning of abstract thoughts about our quantum reality, how we know our own paradigm perspectives, and other casual conversations for the water cooler kinda vibes. I also like spending time with new friends and learning more about their interests by sharing ideas and interests that I'm sure would create a stronger bond.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy all music, as long as it makes me dance. That being said, I usually gravitate towards electronic music, as that is where my expertise lies. My favourite movies are generally science fiction or some sort of documentaries. My favourite books are non-fiction for the moment, but I grew up reading a lot of dungeon and dragons stories.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Visit South East Asia to teach geography and astronomy at an orphanage in Cambodia. I spent two months working in a school and orphanage, which changed my life in ways indescribable for one text box.
Travelled around the British Isles visiting my family there who I had never met before.
Give a TEDx on elephant conversation.
Teach, Learn, Share
Wisdom, knowledge, and positive thinking are applicable for all three options.
We should all share our own experiences with others and be open to meeting new people in strange circumstances.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My sense of compassion and humour. Since I started couchsurfing 9 years ago, I've been reading a book lent to me by my first host. Since then I try to finish that book and make a trade with my next host, thus always passing on knowledge.
Jean Paul Sartre believed that books were meant to be shared and always gave away whatever he read after finishing it. I believe in the same philosophy, so if you host me, I can lend you a new book!
Also taking my host out for a few beers at the nearest pub ;)
