About Me

CURRENT MISSION

While cyclotouring my way across Canada, I couchsurfed with some wonderful hosts. I would love to return the favour and even out the great kharma.

ABOUT ME

I consider myself to be really laid back and easy going. I love being outdoors (just about everything that doesn't involve using an engine or killing animals) and spending most of my disposable income on noble things such as travel, show tickets and expensive bike stuff. I also love classic American cinema (the early Speilberg stuff is not so bad). I like having an opinion on different stuff - which is a little skewed since we Canuks are supposed to be all politically correct and such, but whatev's.

Like most of you reading this I don't get to travel as much as I would like. So I enjoy spending time with people who have traveled off of the beaten path. If you could tell me all about your wanderings in a Tom Waits sort of way, that would be amazing _and_ amusing.

Ok, I'm tired of trying find clever ways of describing myself and I don't want to come off as trying too hard. You know?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cycled my way across Canada in the summer of 2007. I was camping along most the way but I stayed with some really great people on my rest days - via CS of course. Travel guides are practical and all but you gotta hang with the locals to get the pulse of the city.

I want to return the numerous favors I received while traveling by offering my guest room to happy wanderers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couch surfed my way across Canada in the summer of 2007 on my coast to coast cycling trip. I have also hosted a bunch of times and am always bummed when life gets in the way of me being able to host.
