About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live a life filled with love, excitement, and miracles...
ABOUT ME
I'm a bizarre mixture of logical and impulsive, traditional and a little crazy, creative and scientific - but hey - it seems to work for me. I love my job - I'm a biomedical engineer - we're designing a new way to deliver vaccines which will be safer and cheaper - in particular for emerging diseases and for low resource settings. Have recently been bitten by the travel bug and its quickly eating my money - but I figure the emergency money should be used on the appropriate emergency - seeing the big wide world :)
PHILOSOPHY
Courtesy of Helen Keller:
Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.
Interests
Great food, great wine, great friends.
Adventures, the unexpected, photography, sailing, sketching, cooking, singing in the shower, dancing, and reading about faraway places and cultures and new ideas.
