I guess I could say I'm a "discoverer". I love discovering streets, squares, cafés, special little corners in my town, but especially new towns and cities abroad.

I'm a person who lives the moment—be it wandering around looking at shops, marveling at the scenery during a road trip or dancing like crazy on a Saturday night out.

I'm also an introvert, yet I enjoy meeting new people, especially people from other countries and cultures who I can learn from. I find it very interesting how our lifestyles can be so different, yet we can relate to each other in the most deep ways.

On a lighter note, I can say I'm an easy-going person who loves humor and laughing, so you will probably hear me making a stupid/ironic comment to make you laugh. Tip: Don't be mislead by my apparent seriousness!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling because it's always an enriching experience that makes me a better person. Traveling opens my mind, widens my horizons, makes me accepting of other people's ways of living and makes me appreciate life in a way no other experience could.

I think Couchsurfing is the perfect way to have a true cultural exchange and experience travel to its fullest by getting to know the locals and sharing moments.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: my favorite music is metal & rock, but I also enjoy listening to folk, funk, some pop, dance music, chill out music... Oh, and anything from the 80's :-).

Movies: I enjoy thrillers, action movies, comedy, horror movies... (The Lord of The Rings, Pulp Fiction, Inception, The Butterfly Effect, The Others, The Intouchables...)

Books: I love fantasy books, but also crime novel, historic books, travel books, a bit of romantic novel... (A Song of Ice and Fire, The Kingkiller Chronicle, This Charming Man, The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat, The Relic, The Shadow of the Sun, Half of a Yellow Sun...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travel! :-P

Quadbiking in the dunes in Swakopmund, hike Dune 45, visit the Deadvlei, walk on the rim of the second largest canyon in the world (all of this in Namibia... awesome country).

Seeing the sunrise at salar de Uyuni, with my feet in waters so cold they hurt, but admiring the most stunning view I've ever seen, surrounded by vastness and clouds, as if I was floating in the middle of the sky.

Apart from that... I wouldn't say "amazing" (at least for everyone but me), but I was a vocalist in a metal band. We used to play live shows and even recorded an album, which was a really cool and exciting experience.

Newest achievement -> Learned Miriam Makeba's Click Song in Xhosa *_* (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qg4Fp-A7IRw). I'm very proud of this.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm passionate about languages, so learning some bits of yours would be great! I could also teach you a bit of Spanish to help you get around. The most valuable sentence would probably be how to order a beer :P.
