Overview
About Me
My friend Mena and I are old friends from high school, hitting the road on a spontaneous trip up to the north (hopefully winter won't be coming) and down through the Baltic countries - we're excited!
Mena just finished her studies in History & Politics in Freiburg and I am about to finish my studies of Communication Design in Amsterdam. Unsure of where our lives will be headed, we want to make the most of our perhaps last long summer holidays!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far, neither of us have done any couch surfing yet, but we're looking forward to meeting local people who are open to sharing a couch / their culture / a glass of wine with us! In return, we can perhaps share some German beer and stories of our own. :)
Interests
We enjoy local events, such as street food festivals, live concerts or even jam sessions and having a beer in a cozy cafe or bar. We further enjoy going for a hike and to abandoned places - tips are always welcome!
Mena is currently learning Arabic and takes interest in the culture and eastern politics. And I like birds. Haha kidding. Although they're quite amazing. Our interests vary and grow a lot so sharing and getting to know something new is always great!

What I Can Share with Hosts
We're always up for sharing a good story or participating in a tug war. We're also up for throwing something together for a meal - but no gourmet guarantee given. ;)
But most of all, we're easy going and easy to handle and can just swing it by how it goes. :)
