Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Ahoy!!

Travelling is, for me, simply the best way to spend one's limited time on this earth. Where I come from, this activity is generally undervalued; just seen as a semi-useless hobby... In my travels, however, I've discovered how untrue this is.

I've found that what makes a trip so darn important is that it challenges your notion of 'normal' at every corner, literally forcing you to open up your mindset at an unparalleled, super high-speed rate. Now, open mindset = flexible, likeable and ultimately successful person.. Hope that makes any sense!

What I'm trying to say here is that one will probably grow faster as a person while doing a trip, than while doing any other activity.
So I intend to keep going anywhere and everywhere I can, and encourage my loved ones to try it as well; also partly because I believe that there's nothing that feeds our insatiable human curiosity like a well-rounded trip to an undiscovered culture.

I will more than happily share all my time and experiences with my hosts/hosted, and I look forward to learning from them, and to just meeting new characters from every corner of this vast planet
