veterinary, local languages, to read the weather and navigate via astrology, to know the plants and marine life, farming, to build a bamboo raft...simply almost every practical thing in life i don't know amuses me; and ppl who know this practical things amaze me

Music, Movies, and Books

Blind Chance by Kieslowski, Persona by Bergman, Tokyo story by Ozu, A Tale of Springtime by Rohmer, Landscape in the Mist by Angelopoulos...just list some that impressed me for long while. and Herzog! I'm absolutely intoxicated by his adventure experience along with filming in the far remote area beyond our civilized world. I believe movie read life out in a tangible way that hard to be touched by others. For music, all the old classic rock work on me, loved britpop - Oasis!, amazed by dark wave, listen to everything almost, just too lazy to get informed of what is on now - seldom a fan of what's on now for whatever, while still satisfied with all the old stuffs. a special album shall mention is Not A Second Time from Ophelia's dream, the only album i could finish without getting bored but have my mind floating further and further. Books, up to any books that could open me a new view, specially love books that could smash my brain like a lot from Walter Benjamin. I read him rrrrreally slow - one page several months when in mood. He is so mature to bend the words,let it flow to a second layer, build up some structures in the third layer..
