Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting local people and understanding the nuances of a city. I have travelled to many countries and lived in hotels and done the tourist-y things. But some of my best memories have been when a local person went to have food with me or showed me places where I would not have gone normally. So I've realized that from 2016 onwards I'll do couchsurfing whenever possible.

I also would like to host many people from many countries and cultures.

Interests

I love everything related to food. Making it. Eating it. Feeding it. I can cook East Indian and North Indian cuisine with ease.

I love racing and Formula 1 so much so that I used to own a go-karting track for about a year. I currently also run full motion racing simulator centres in India at 4 cities in India. I also have a job but that's boring... Hehe.

I also (try to??) set up new businesses every now and then.

I am also learning carpentry but I'm not very good at it right now !

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is Indian Soft Musicals. I love international movies too. Amelie (french) and El secreto de sus ojos (Argentina) are two of my favourites. But most of the movie watching has been Hollywood and Bollywood.

I have lots of books but lately I have not read much. I love semi-autobiographical books of political and business personalities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit my job and went on a 45 day unplanned backpacking trip to USA and Europe.

I learnt Parasailing in 4 weeks and jumped off a hill and survived. I almost broke my leg but survived. I loved it. It was awesome.

I went neck deep in the ocean once even though I didn't know swimming properly.

I think I should stop trying to kill myself... LOL
