I'm a 25-year-old from Israel
I'm pursuing a B.Sc. degree in Marine Biotechnology at Ruppin College, located between Haifa and Tel Aviv in Israel.

I served as a soldier in the Israel military starting from 2018. During my time in the army, I served as rookie commander before transitioning into the role of a cook. While I might not have seen in combat, I can certainly whip up some delicious dishes :)

After my military service, I ventured into various temporary roles, including agricultural work in northern Israel. I've harvested grapefruits, plums, and apricots during this time. I've also had a stint as a cook at a hotel in southern Israel.

One of my proudest achievements was completing the Israel National Trail, a 1000 km trek across the country that took me two and a half months.

I also embarked on a two-month journey through New Zealand, inspired by my love for 'The Lord of the Rings,' which was filmed there. Along the way, I explored breathtaking landscapes, met locals, and connected with fellow members of the 501st Legion.

Speaking about the 501st, I'm honored to be a member, recognized as TK99014. This international community of Star Wars fans blends their passion for the franchise with acts of kindness. We visit hospitals and various events dressed as the iconic characters, all with the aim of bringing joy to people's lives. Our motto is: "bad guys doing good."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I traveled to New Zealand 🇳🇿 and wanted to make my journey even more interesting by getting to know the locals and hearing about New Zealand from their perspective. Now, I'm really keen on continuing to meet up with both locals and fellow travelers through CS on my next adventures.

Interests

My interests extend to all things geeky. I've attended comics, science fiction, and fantasy festivals in Israel and aspire to visit iconic events like Comic-Con in the USA and Disneyland.

Movies and TV shows are a big part of my life, and I occasionally share my thoughts through reviews on my personal blog (in Hebrew) or on my Instagram/Facebook page.
