About Me
francais en bas
Hey :) I am Alon and I am 26 years old.
I grew up in Melbourne, Australia but was born in Israel, and moved back here in June 2019. Its quite random, but I also have a huge French influence in my life. Most of my closest friends are French and i have spoken more French than English over the last 6 years. I have done a lot of travelling since the age of 18, and I am always up for meeting interesting people from across the world.
I am very much still discovering Tel Aviv as I havnt been here for very long! I live in South of the city, at the edge of centre and just before Florentine. There are lots of nice markets and bars/cafes around, and the central locations are not far away at all. The beginning of Rothschild is less than a 10 minute walk, and Dizengoff street is about 10 minutes on the bus. I tend to get around on my skateboard or by walking. Everything is closeby :)
I work remotely for an Australian start up, so I am normally busy during the week in the daytime. I finish work anywhere between 1-4pm depending on the day.
I love going out, playing/listening to music, reading and anything that makes me feel inspired.

Hey!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couchsurfed a lot in Europe in 2011/2012 and even met my best friends from France through the platform. I have helped out a number of couchsurfers in Melbourne over the years, and hosted a bit when I was living in Lyon a few years ago.
I enjoy meeting new people, learning about different cultures, and just feeling inspired. Tel Aviv is an expensive city and I totally understand that couchsurfing makes traveling a lot more affordable. My apartment however, is quite small, so I will only host people if I feel that there is mutual interest.
Interests
I love playing cards. I like to think that my friends and I play the best card game, so all the more fun if you are game :)
I love electronic music, both chill and heavy. In saying that, my favourite artist is Bon Iver, so its often chill vibes at home.
