About Me

Although there is a diverse range of activities I've done in the past, for some fortunate reason, making music becomes lately one I cannot deny. I cant really consider myself a musician, tho others may call me that. It just appears to happen to me, and I appear to not be able to give it up.

For the last few months I have been travelling with a little band, MAPACE, touring during summertime with our music. Busking and performing around some European streets, neighbourhoods, villages, festivals and much unsuspected venues. (If you are curious, you can listen here> https://soundcloud.com/mapace/ :)
Though I dont feel very proud about the music we have been doing, I do feel surprised and inspired about doing it. About the magic of travelling with something like a gift to offer. I have felt enormous gratitude.

So, lately for me, travelling is not a purpose itself , but instead transmitting, carrying something, bringing a vibe on, sharing what we love to do with strangers and receive the gifts that come with it.

Now that tour is over, and the members of the band are taking a break, I decided I want to go to the US West Coast, for a journey to nurture what I do and hopefully build up what is gonna happen the next season.

I am excited about meeting new musicians, producers, DJs, Jazz Lovers, and every creative related to the music scene, whom I can learn from or work for&with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have always been enthusiastic about the unknown. Strangers that become your friends, those magic things that come to you like gifts you need to be able to recieve. Everytime I become friend of someone who is very different to me, I feel like I am expanding (in love)

I think it is smart and kind to share house duties as well as unused space, and I learn so much from the people who does it. There is no expectation but openness which I find wonderful and peaceful.

Music, Movies, and Books

Hip-hop is lately part of my research in music as well as all kinds of Afro-American tunes.
I like weird latín folk and western, blues and jazz as well.
Music research is a passion itself

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Dont think I have done anything amazon yo tell. Bit I am possibly about to do it if I find someone(s) who needs it. And I hope so.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Most of the time I stay at people places I end up either>

Playing music, cooking, unfolding rare travelling information, moviewatching or making funky plans.
Some nights might end up drinking a bottle and talking endlessly or laughing or confesing shameful stuff....

Of course, I can share some sad chilean tunes, warmer latin songs or my incipent jazz singing.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, France, Germany, Mexico, Switzerland, United States, Uruguay

Countries I’ve Lived In

Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain
