About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Push time travel to new limits.

ABOUT ME

I have a quick wit sense of humor and can fluidly bounce from the ideal to the surreal. I like big ideas and respect the hell out of people that can follow through with them. I travel for pleasure and am usually happy with most a new experience. I have learned the further you displace yourself from any given point the more your being expands. I like outside more than inside, I keep my friends and family close, karma spaceships move objectively, and I tend to have a curious way with words.

PHILOSOPHY

Go at your own pace. The rest will follow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate with CS lots of different ways. I've hosted, surfed, traveled, learned from and shared many a great time with each new couchsurfer. CS adapts to my lifestyle at any given time. I enjoy bouncing ideas and thoughts around in the forums and try to join groups with like minded interests and share what I can when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The arms stretch long and knowledge is deep. The people are amazing and each experience unique. Couchsurfing is brilliant, it's that simple.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read a lot but not always books. Sometimes its Wikipedia in spanish, sometimes its Good.is sometimes its my Twitter stream, but with fiction anything by Kurt Vonnegut, Tom Robbins or by my new discovery Haruki Murakami. My favorite non-fiction book I have read is Archaic Revival by Terrance McKenna. Musician's bios are usually a sure thing depending on how hard they rocked. National Geo and Lemon magazines are also pretty spectacular.

With movies I like a good psychological thriller, indie comedy or an intelligent documentary. Japanese & Spanish films as well as their variety show counterparts hold a sweet spot in my heart though. I also have a curious easter horror movie tradition started with my sister thats been going for the last 15 years.

Music just opens up a whole world of huh? I could start by saying I like everything but this would be a lie. I like strong lyrics and musical composition, I like a good story, I like the album not the song, I prefer live sound rather than recorded. I will travel great distances to see a good show. Music is a time machine and can root or reroute you anywhere.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent 10 days as a guest in an Ecuadorian hospital.
