I am a Colombian college first-year that enjoys travelling around the world and meeting new people. I am thoroughly interested in getting immersed in new cultures and learning new languages (even if my current repertoire is extremely limited). I am an amateur athlete that trains with the dedication of a professional one.
I consider myself an international student because I have lived in the United States, Colombia and Peru.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I would love to spend some of the spare time (most of it really) I have as a college student travelling the world. I want to make the most of the years where I can enjoy the lack of permanent residency anywhere. I know when I graduate from college and start to have a professional career (medicine, I hope) I will not have as much time to travel around and catch a glimpse of the parts of the world that are currently unfamiliar to me.

I want my definition of "fun" to be extremely flexible and travelling and participating in diverse activities with people all around the world will help be accomplish that.

Interests

Some of my hobbies include jogging, playing rugby, listening to and playing music and simply relaxing and having conversations (something society lacks nowadays with the invasion of technology).

Teach, Learn, Share

I have relatively little to share with the wonderful people that would offer to host me. I am only 21 years old, but all of those 21 years have been worthwhile and I have recently embarked on plenty of adventures. I warmly encourage discussions with people that come from different backgrounds than myself, just so I can begin to understand life from different perspectives.
