I'm an Aspiring Filipino Scientist trying to experience the world as low cost as possible. I dream of discovering the next big thing in pharma that's why I'm currently pursuing my MS degree in Italy.

I personally love travelling because it makes me feel smaller and insignificant. In every new place I visit, I am reminded of how beautiful our world is and the culture of the many different people that live in it. I take each trip as a learning opportunity - the history of a country/city, the story behind the buildings and the quirks of its people. And in every single trip, I am reminded of how much I don't know yet and how different and alike everyone is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Prior to 2024, I have exclusively stayed in hotels and hostels. But this year, I sucked up the courage to start meeting people through this platform. I love the concept of trading your hospitality for a good laugh or a nice home-cooked meal. As Filipinos are well known for their hospitality, I will be proudly representing my country wherever I go.

I also like experiencing a new city through the eyes and tastebuds of a local, as I think it provides a more authentic experience.

Interests

I love to read books, cook, binge-watch TV shows and go on spontaneous trips. I consider myself quite adventurous, especially when it comes to food (lol). I live for spicy food and anything with curry.

Still a fan of Harry Potter after all these years, but I also appreciate a good comedy show.
