About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to do good research/theorizing and publish it in good journals, to understand and influence the way people think

ABOUT ME

I am from Seattle but now I am working as a professor at a business school in Portugal. My Korean wife and I had a baby in June 2016.

I do research on meditation and how it can influence decisions and other things in the workplace. Here is an article on one of my papers: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/wray-herbert/mindfulness-and-loss-the_b_3795237.html

I love traveling. I have been to a lot of places in Europe and Asia. I would like to go to South America next.

I studied opera for 7 years and was in all of the school musicals. I minored in classical voice but I still like to rock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-Dd04walWI

I don't smoke. My body is my temple...

PHILOSOPHY

meglio tardi che mai

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed a lot and always wanted to be able to host but I was living with host families or flatmates until now so it wasn't really possible. I believe in couchsurfing though as a way to improve the world by helping each other.
