ABOUT ME
A nomadic traveller at heart:
I was born in Switzerland and lived there until I was 18. I then moved to the US, in Boston and went to college there for 5 years, studying Motion Graphics (which is whatever's on a screen that is not video).
But it wasn't time to go home after that. I had to accomplish a dream: to live in Asia for a year. I thus took an exchange program in Taiwan for a semester, and graduated there and stayed there working as an English and French teacher. During my time there, I visited many places in Taiwan discovering this unusual culture, and travelled around Asia as well to places like Japan, Korea and Hong Kong, etc.
After a year in Taiwan I went finally back to Switzerland. It had been 6 years I was living away. I've been back for a while now but it took me a while to readjust to my own country, which is kind of funny. However, I still travel a lot and go to Taiwan once a year since it has become my 2nd home.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to describe myself as the optimistic hedonist. I enjoy life so much, and I feel so lucky to be alive every day (especially on sunny days). I cultivate a passion for culture or should I say multi-cultures. I love all the different facets brought by people's various origins. I am multi-cultured myself, a quarter Turkish, Spanish, Polish and Russian, and born and raised in Switzerland. I speak French, Turkish and English.
I try very hard to maintain my unconventionality. I am completely against the conditioning of our society in believing what is right or wrong, what should be and what should not. For instance, I don't believe alcohol is the only way to lose your inhibitions enough to allow yourself to have fun. I don't believe I need to look cool all the time, and in fact, looking stupid once in a while is quite healthy.

Teach, Learn, Share
The reason why French has so many words with double-consonants: in medieval times, only copist-monks knew how to write and they spent their time copying the bible. They were paid by the letter though, and so they started doubling some letters for better profit :)
