Overview
About Me
I have graduated on Bs. and MSc from Civil Engineering faculty. Nowadays I’m working as technical office engineer/business developer in Turkey. I have been participating Erasmus exchange in Zagreb, Croatia. Surely, many of the sweetest memories ended up in my heart. That would be pleasure to help someone who wants to visit the city I live in. I am a traveller, have a traveller soul and I don't need repress that feeling. Sometimes I decide to going on a trip, after 1 hour later I find myself on the road :) There are lots of profits to experience to know a stranger. Sure if he/she is in positive manner. Couchsurfing is one of the best ways to achieve that. Sapere aude!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to see, to learn, to teach. And surely to meet new people, new ideas, new ideals. We got only one life, so let's fill it with hearth-warming memories as many as we can.
Interests
Upper PS: I’ve always wondered about mindsets of others. That’s why I choose to sit in a local pub to explore local mindset earlier than to visit significant point of that city.
Languages, motocycles, writing and watching movies, alcohol for fun, kickbox and swimming(during pandemic era it’s hard to do both), playing clarinet, global politics, experimental musics and etc. (Couple years after edit again: those are still my desires but workload, transition from young to adult and responsibilities shape my interests more boring comparing with those joyful activities.)
Music, Movies, and Books
Mostly deep house, future house, indie, downtempo, greek tavern music, mystic instrumentals, classical, Turkish art music, 90's pop and popular pop/r&b. Röyksopp has a special area on my heart and ears. I could describe myself as a cinephilie. (Couple years after edit: Because of my intense work schedule it’s hard to claim myself as cinephilie anymore.) My favourite movies are: "Mr. Nobody, Interstellar, den Brysommemannen, the Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Apocalypto, Artificial Intelligence". I had become literate at 4 and never stopped reading then. Glad to read Trevanian before. Really a big admirer of Khalil Gibran. Dostoevski is perfect.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In summer of 2015, I travelled Aegean coasts within 4000km by my motocycle. I have never planned that trip before and it was totally spontaneous.
