CURRENT MISSION

Is to help people in need, I advocate for people in court, with social service agancies, I also go out at night to feed the people living on the streets when I can. We need donations of bread, sandwich stuff, hot drinks, and clothing for street people.

ABOUT ME

I was born with club feet, deaf in both ears, and borderline retardation, and I was born in the most beautiful places on earth, a place called Esperanza, BC. I along with my other brother and sister were taken out of our homes.
My brother and sister were put into residential school, and I was fostered out, because of my defecits. I don't remember too much up until the age of 5 years old when I was put into the Williams home, and thus I became Billy George Williams.
My dad died the same year I was born, and he was a hereditary chief. That means the next male in the family becomes the next chief, and that was my brother. My brother received lots of abuse in residential school from the authority figures, but my brother stayed tuff through it all. My brother is one of the main chiefs of our tribe. There is two main chiefs of our tribe, the Mowachaht tribe that amalgamated with our tribe about fifty three years ago with the Muchalaht tribe. British Columbia was discovered through our tribe by captain cook, captain vancouver, the spanuards.
While under foster care, my foster mother made sure that I was taken care of with operations on my feet and ears, so that I can walk and hear. I had six operations on both feet, and I had six operations on both ears, so that I can hear. I remember the very first time I could hear was when I was about 12 years old. I was in Victoria General, Victoria, BC. The doctors came in and he took off my ear cast, at the time I was looking out side the window. No kidding, I could hear the birds wing's flap while the bird was flying around the tree just outside the window. I could hear people talking on the side walk. I could hear the cars out side and that's what hurt my ears, so I asked the doctor to make me deaf again. He laughed and said we'll be putting ear plugs in your ears and it was ok by me. I had to relearn what everyone else knew already, and that was to learn what sounds were.
Today I'm not only writing an autobiography of myself, I also have a film company: https://www.bgwfilm.com, I plan to do a movie about myself.
Most recently, someone did a Documentary about me - "The Importance of a Forgiving Heart: The Bill Williams Story". This Documentary was shown at the Salt Spring Island Film Festival March 02, 2014.

PHILOSOPHY

I was raised in an abusive home, but I learned in life to forgive. It took a long time to forgive my foster parents, because there was verbal, physical, and sexual abuse on me from them. I became an angry person, but did not want to be like that. I forgave them for what had happened in my life, and I asked to be forgiven by them for being a bad boy too.
I then was released from bondage of torement, night mares, and thoughts of suicide. I became a new person in life. I do things now, because I believe in what I do, and that is to help others, are you with me in helping them too!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate first when I get up in the mornings while in my super hero pajama's, and slippers. I make a cup of coffee and I sit down at my computer to see what's going on in the cs world.

We've had some declines from couch surfers due to us having a black lab and a cat.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm interested in movies like Lake Placid, Free Willie 3, The Sentinels, The X-Files, because I'm in these movies. I was also in The Sentinel's, The X-Files tv shows too. The only book I'm interested right is my autobiography book of myself, and with your help I can finish it. I plan to make my autobiography book into a movie, and I have my own movie company called "BGW FILM" that is licensed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing things in my life are the time when I heard for the very first time when I was 12 years old. The other is graduating from grade 12 when I wasn't suppose to, and the students I graduated with are the same students I started in grade 1. They picked on me, they threw books out of my hands, they pushed me down in the hall way while I had cast on both leggs. But I didn't let that bother me, when I had cast on both ears, they called me alien. So I acted like an alien, and that made the kids laugh. That's when I found my purpose in life, and that was to make people laugh. Anyways, when I graduated the students gave me a 15 minute standing ovation. Today I have a clown suite.
