About Me

On a recent trip to a new city, a new friend asked me what I wanted to get into. I simply said, "Find some great live music and green spaces (with both ideally being a bit off the beaten path)." When in my city, both these spaces are a large part of my life. Seeking them out in other locales is one of my favorite ways to get to know another corner of the county's unique beauty.

As a movement enthusiast, I enjoy practicing flow arts as a way to connect with others, as well as myself. Though dance and yoga are a part of my everyday life, I'm also passionate about hooping and acro-yoga.

Additionally, I love eating. Whether cooking it at home or enjoying someone else's creation, I really appreciate how people naturally commune over food. So getting to taste diverse types of food is something I really love; it helps me get to know diverse groups of people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Defintely believe in getting to know a place by getting to know its people. In my experience, getting to know folks who are willing to open up there homes (the best kinda of people!), i get to know the best of a city/town. It's something I've been doing, and enjoying, for a while so hoping this site will allow me to do it more!

Music, Movies, and Books

World dance music, golden-age hip-hop, swing-era jazz, and everything in between.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Met a set of folks I immediately loved who were headed west on a painted school-bus but were leaving the next day. Left with them in the morning and traveled to half-a dozen states in the next few months.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Smiles, good vibes, and locally crafted beer from Indiana.
