Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was born and raised around Atlanta so I know the town pretty well. If you're looking for a place to go for good music, I can generally point you in the right direction. If I'm available I'll try and show you around some spots in the city or just contact me and I'll let you know how to get there.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Went to the Charleston Beach Crash in 2015 and had the chance to meet some great people. Haven't been able to be active on the site much in the past but should have more free time coming up. Looking forward to

Interests

My two big passions in life are DJing and street dance (b-boying/breaking in particular). I've done both for a little over 16 years now and they've allowed me to travel and meet a lot of great people. Outside of that, I was a film major but a combination of things kept me from pursuing that as a career as much as I would've liked. Most of my engagement with that is limited to screenwriting.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a voracious media consumer so it'd be ridiculous to try and list everything I like...I'm a big podcast fan (if you've heard of a podcast, I'm probably a fan). My favorite genres of music are funk, afrobeat, hip hop, house and certain kinds of indie rock but I'm an open-minded listener and don't place many restrictions on what I to listen to, I try to stay on top of all of it as best I can.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: English, guitar, dancing (breaking, basics of house), DJing

Learn: Any language or anything related to music

Share: Experiences, ideas, food and drinks

What I Can Share with Hosts

I know the nightlife in Atlanta and where to eat. I consider myself a decent tour guide for Atlanta and enjoy sharing the positives of my city. I play a couple different instruments including guitar and bass so if you're interested in jamming, just let me know.
