About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Love, laugh, live. Learn.

ABOUT ME

I like to think that I have curly hair, a silly smile and an open mind.

PHILOSOPHY

Random thoughts that reflect my personal philosophy, here we go:

Only put what you need in the kettle.

Always, always question.

Experiment.

Life is for doing. It is too short to waste with worry over the trivial.

You should always plan, as those with plans are still alive but then again you should never worry if those plans change for nothing is surer than the fact that they will. You should always strive to improve, even the wee things - why do I still bite my nails?

It's okay to contradct yourself.

To paraphrase that famous Indian guy who liked to walk here and there, you should try and be the change that you see in the world. You hike a mountain and hate to see a bit of rubbish up there? Then pick up a bit of rubbish and take it with you.

Ignorance is the enemey, boredom is the nemesis. Fight them on every front.

Always be grateful for how wonderful a miracle it is that we are here at all.

Life is better with colour, with music, with a smile.

Optimism will take you anywhere. It will take you everywhere.

Love.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After spending two days stuck in the Nepali Annapurna Mountain Range being battered by wind and rain we awoke on our final morning to blissful silence. Half an hour later and we were stood atop Poon Hill watching the fiery morning sun rise over fourteen snow capped peaks, marveling as it shone new light on our day.
