Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Joined the community a little while ago. SInce joining I have had a great time meeting new people, making friends, surfing on people's couches and going to events.

Recently, I have hosted some couchsurfers. Usually, it's people that I have made friends with through the community and then contacted me directly if they were in my area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I have just been mostly on the surfer side of the project since I am mostly traveling at the moment so I haven't been able to host people often. I have also gone to a number of the events and met a lot of great people and made a number of friends along the way. I would say just about everyone I have met through CS has been great.

That description is a little bit out of date. At this point I have been involved in any and every way couchsurfing has to offer. It is a really wonderful community that I enjoy being a part. What I give back at any given moment will depend on where I am in my own travels and adventures. But there is always room for something.

Any music with a lot of bass: Dubstep, Wobble House, Baseline, Funk, Cumbia, Reggae. Also love the classic stuff like soul and the beatles. And music from all over the world like Chicha, Neo-tango, Balkan music, or music like Thievery Corporation that has influences from many places.
Love all kinds of movies from directors like Tarantino, Kubrik, Von Trier, Park Chan Woo

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ran a music festival for four years.

Helped build an art car for a festival in middle of the desert.

Teach, Learn, Share

Willing to share any of my experiences over the many countries I have visited. Also have a background in science and a strong spiritually. willing to share my beliefs how these two things are intertwined. Also, believe that cooking is an art and willing to share different culinary styles such as Italian, Cajun, Mexican, Middle Eastern, Asian or mad scientist.
