Viajar para conocer nuevas culturas, aprender, para compartir experiencias, valorar las cosas sencillas, crecer espiritualmente y vivir experiencias que nos ayuden a alcanzar nuestro sueño: que nuestro trabajo sea nuestra pasión. Montar un negocio sobre cultura asiática y comida japonesa.

ABOUT US

We are a couple who loves traveling, not only for knowing new places, but for learning from other cultures and ways of life. Traveling has helped us to grow spiritually, open our minds, be much more tolerant and feel empathy with human beings and free ourselves from some fears.
In 2014 we had been traveling during a year and a half around the world. This trip changed our lives and since then, we have made many trips to Asia. We had to return home because of a serious health problem of Rebecca, but once recovered, we have been traveling to Asia on several occasions and periods of time.

During our trip we had wonderful experiences with couchsurfing. We were hosted in several countries and some of the people we met,came later to our house in Spain.

We went back to work in the city but it was not what we wanted. So we decided to start a small business online and Alex study in Japan to be a sushi chef. Our purpose is to turn our passion into our job and share it with people.

We plan to travel for a few months; searching ideas, products and experiences that help us to start our project; Set up a business about Asian culture and Japanese food.

SOBRE NOSOTROS

Somos una pareja que nos encanta viajar, no solo por el hecho de conocer nuevos lugares, sino por aprender de otras culturas y formas de vida. Viajar nos ha ayudado a crecer espiritualmente, abrir nuestra mente, ser mucho más tolerantes y empíricos con otros seres humanos y liberarnos de algunos miedos.
En 2014 viajamos durante un año y medio por el mundo. Este viaje nos cambió la vida y desde entonces, hemos hecho bastantes viajes al continente asiático. Tuvimos que volver a casa por un problema de salud grave de Rebeca, pero una vez recuperada, hemos estado viajando a Asia en varias ocasiones y periodos de tiempo.

Durante nuestro viaje tuvimos experiencias maravillosas con couchsurfing. Nos hospedaron en varios países y algunas de las personas que conocimos vinieron después a nuestra casa en España.

Volvimos a trabajar en la ciudad pero no era lo que queríamos. Así que decidimos montar un pequeño negocio online y Alex estudiar en Japón para ser sushi chef. Rebeca trabaja online.

Planeamos viajar durante unos meses en busca de ideas, productos y experiencias que nos ayuden iniciar nuestro proyecto; montar un negocio sobre cultura asiática y comida japonesa.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

During our trip we had met wonderful people thanks to couchsurfing. Most of them are our friends and we still have contact with them, and even met again. Some of the people who hosted us, came later to visit us in Spain and were our guests. And also we hosted new travelers.

EXPERICIENCIA CON COUCHSURFING

Durante nuestro viaje conocimos a gente maravillosa gracias a couhsufirng. Muchos de ellos son nuestros amigos y todavía tenemos contacto, incluso nos hemos reencontrado varias veces. Algunos de las personas que nos hospedaron, nos visitaron después en España y fueron nuestros huéspedes. Y también hemos hospedado a nuevos viajeros.

Interests

Nos encanta cocinas y comer.
Nos apasiona la cultura asiática, y en particular, la japonesa.
Alex ha estudiado para ser sushi chef.
En nuestro viaje nos fascinó India y queremos volver a visitar el país muy pronto.
Nos gusta correr, ir en bici y hacer caminatas por la naturaleza.
Nos gusta la fotografía, aunque no seamos buenos fotógrafos.
Nos encanta viajar.

We love cooking and eating.

Hacer un trekking por el Annapurna y ver paisajes espectaculares.
Ver el cielo lleno de estrellas y sentir lo grande que es el universo.
Dormir en un templo budista y contagiarnos de la serenidad de sus monjes.
Conocer un monje que leyó nuestros chakras.
Conocer gente maravillosa que cambió nuestra manera de ver la vida.
