Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel the EU performing music while visiting old friends and making new ones
ABOUT ME
Friends call me a hilarious wise soul and an excellent cook. I love drinking coffee, playing music, jogging, artifacts old from long ago, weathered old cities, overgrown forgotten places, sad but joyful songs, well ridden bicycles, and sandwiches, sandwiches, sandwiches.
PHILOSOPHY
Be kind and respect people who know more than you and give everyone a chance to prove they do.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can cook a meal, fix your bicycle (professional mechanic), reach things from a high shelf (tall), diffuse any awkward social situation (unflappable and funny)
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I live in a large community house in Chicago and have vicariously hosted many, many couch surfers through house mates with awesome results. Many Euro travelers, even one surfer from Amsterdam who wound up engineering my record.
Interests
I am a banjo/guitar/fiddle playing songwriter in love with American old-time and punk music I enjoy fabricating, constructing and building anything with wood and screws, or metal, bolts, and welding. I strive to reclaim materials and food from the waste stream and distribute to those in need whenever I can.

The City Museum in St. Louis defies description and is an amazing testament to the strangeness of the U.S. http://www.citymuseum.org/site/
