Explore as much of the world around me as possible. In doing so I hope to learn more about myself through the knowledge that I have gained of others.

ABOUT ME

I like to think of myself as open minded (as most people do on this site) and willing to give new experiences a try at least once. I absolutely love to travel and have had some amazing experiences doing so including volunteering abroad. I just recently got married to a man that loves to travel and experience life as much as I do and we cant wait to Couchsurf together!

PHILOSOPHY

I try not to make a habit of taking things too seriously. I'm a firm believer in just being kind and finding my own happiness. One of my favorite quotes:

"I think most of us are raised with preconceived notions of the choices we're supposed to make. We waste so much time making decisions based on someone else's idea of our happiness - what will make you a good citizen or a good wife or daughter or actress. Nobody says, 'Just be happy - go be a cobbler or go live with goats."

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had some really great experiences on this site and look forward to keeping that vibe going. I continue to be on this site because I believe it is such a unique way to travel. Hotels can be so impersonal. I love the fact that, not only do you get a place to stay, you get the opportunity to meet some amazing people from all over the world.

SURFED:
I have CouchSurfed in Denmark for a week and in Swedan for a night. The majority of my surfing was done during a 3 week road trip in Canada and along the east coast of the US with my best friend.

Interessen

I love animals, eating healthy and exercising, reading, a good sense of humor, and drinking wine in great company.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I once jumped off a 30 ft cliff into the ocean in Hawaii. It was exhilarating and I can't wait to do it again!

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Volunteering gave me the opportunity to encounter other cultures on a more personal level enriching my overall experience. That being said, I believe I can share the knowledge that I have gained with other like-minded, travel loving people.
