ABOUT ME

After living and travelling overseas for many years, I moved back home to Australia and got a great job with an airline. Cheap flights... yaay!!

I love my job but decided to reduce work to 4 days so that Fri to Sun I can rock climb, surf and sail... or have people over for a massive cook-up.

I'm very funny, open-minded and a fab cook.

PHILOSOPHY

All the planets we can see are barren bits of rock. We live on an amazing planet with 'life' in so many different forms (did you know that plants can hear and some of them use clicks to communicate?). Dont worry about God or Heaven (with or without virgins); humans (esp priests) cant answer those question, just live an active, adventurous and honest life so no matter what happens after (if anything) you will be ready to face it!

I cant count the number of times people have helped me, selflessly, in my travels... so offering my couch and helping travellers is my way of 'paying it back, paying it forward'

Paragliding off remote Rainbow beach in Australia over blue oceans teeming with sharks, mantas and swarms of fish; Glacier climbing in Norway; Cabling between treehouses in the forests of Laos; Sailing in Turkey; Trekkin north of the arctic circle in Nth Finland; White water-rafting in Nepal... and I've just come back from Burning Man in the USA
