For making more friends from all over the world, I would like to meet with foreigners travelling my country. I want to share my feelings, thoughts, views, love, affection, emotions, joys and sorrows with others and gather experiences to enrich myself.

About Me

At the outset I would like to greet all - irrespective of kids, children, youths and elderly persons. I am Md. Altafur Rahman from Bangladesh. I live a quiet but busy life, always optimistic and friendly; know how to adapt to any situation and a very easygoing person. My struggle is to grow myself up as a positive man and I want to help others to do the same. Besides, I love mountain climbing and I am always keen to explore and discover something.
I have recently passed the BSS (Hons) in Journalism and Mass Communication from the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Daffodil International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
My future plan is to be a teacher. My parents have given their consent to my choice. There are many reasons for choosing the profession. A big portion of our population is poor and illiterate. They cannot read and write at all. They don’t have a proper guideline how to lead a good and peaceful life. I think a teacher can provide with a good guideline to the nation. Only it can lead their lives in a right direction and in this way they can develop their own position. A teacher is a mirror of society. It is my cherished desire to serve the nation as an enlightened man with education. I want to go abroad for higher studies like MSS, M.Phil and PhD. After completing the mentioned degrees with brilliant results, I would go back to my beloved country and join as a faculty member. I believe that I would be able to reach my goal and properly serve the nation.
Recently I am working as a journalist in an English national daily named The Asian Age.
I am bi-lingual – Bangla (mother tongue) and English.
I want to represent Bangladesh with its culture, lifestyles, language, food habits, human manners, beliefs, norms, values, rituals, heritage and historical backgrounds in front of the world people.

Música, películas y libros

I like all kinds of music. Music refreshes mind and it creates a new horizon there. Sometimes it gives me the power of realization what is good and what is bad. It depends on my frame of mind, time, place and situation.

I love to watch various types of movie. If I get enough time, I will try my best to watch the selective movie like Indian art film. I like thought-provoking movies. I am also interested to watch movies of action, comedy or horror which I prefer watching alone.

Books are one of the best tools for training and upbringing. I believe that a good book always has a salutary effect on the mind of a reader. It will elevate spirit and thoughts. It will augment his store of knowledge. Books help in correcting moral ineptitude. Reading of books might have a deeper impact on the minds of the readers than the other means of acquiring knowledge. Sometimes reading brings about a revolutionary change in the outlook of a person. The habit of reading is the best aspect of pastime. It can keep a person busy when he has nothing else to do. A good book, for a reader, is better than visiting the best of gardens and picturesque places.
