Hello! I became very much interested in non profit organizations and volunteerism 2 years prior to my graduation. I'm one of those people who think that we should believe and act for the change we want to make instead of just sitting. Following this thought, I found myself volunteering for an ngo whose purpose is increasing social skills of chidren who live in disadvantaged neighbourhoods by organizing various workshops. I was actively doing that for 1.5 years. Later on, I started volunteering for another organization which aims to provide food and clothes to homeless people in different parts of Istanbul. I also volunteered to promote lifelong educational programes for the kids who live in rural areas.

More about me, I graduated with BA degree in History in 2017. After graduation, I realized that I could consider a career in non profit world as I've been interested in social projects and making a social impact. Following my graduation, I got accepted in a project which aims to provide 1 year full time working experience to fresh graduates in different non governmental organizations. I'm currently working for Firefly Educational Unit Department manager for one of the top educational ngo of Turkey called TEGV. I teach coding, maths, science, hygiene rules to students and play drama with them.
