I was born and raised in Kalmykia, the only (mostly) Buddhist region in Europe.

I am an undergraduate student majoring in 'World economy' with focus on Japan and East Asia (thus I am learning Japanese) in Higher School of Economics, one of the most famous universities in Russia.

Currently I am an exchange student in the University of Missouri (Columbia, MO, USA) thanks to the program for talented young Russians organized and funded by American Councils / Embassy of USA in Moscow.

Since my time here is limited, I would love to travel as much as I could!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing to meet new people, share my culture and explore others :)
I think that Couchsurfing is a great way to travel and discover different places while communicating with locals, which is so beneficial to the deeper understanding of the area.
One day I will be happy to host people back in Russia.
