About Me
Hello all! My name is Altay and I’m a Turkish-American doing my MBA in Barcelona. I was previously super active on CS while living in Porto - at some point I was hosting one or two groups in my home every week. Although now that I have a student life again, I don’t have as much time as I would like to host people, but after some time off the platform I wanted to open it up again to meet some cool people. A bit about myself:
I love working out and running on the beach, stopping for a lunch on the esplanade, eating fish and drinking wine, reading and writing, and producing music. If any of these things interest you, don’t hesitate to contact me! I also did Couchsurfing as a traveler in Brasil and that’s what initially got me hooked. I think it’s a great platform for meeting new people and engaging with distinct cultures. So I’m looking to host some cool people if I can, and it would be my pleasure to show you around Barcelona!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I love meeting new people and hosting is in my Turkish blood!
Also, to quote Wilfred Thesiger: “it’s living humans that are of more interest than landscape, architecture, or history... “ as in embrace the experience and let our connection help you find happiness in Porto!
