ABOUT ME

I like driving when there's no-one on the road but me. And I like technology that I can understand. And I like being comfortable with not doing anything special, just having a good time.

I don't like making big important decisions, though I am fully aware that I should get used to it because there's only going to be more of them with time. I want to move out as soon as possible and live my life the way I want.

I like reading, playing pointless computer games and stupid jokes. Also picnicky get-togethers, theater and foreign languages. And I like cooking with my boyfriend, it gives me the illusion that we have our own place.

I am annoyed by overly self-centered people, people who take your favours for granted, and when people speak English horribly (but then I just speak to them in a different language or try to ignore it x)). I hate it when I can't do stuff (like if I'm injured or sick) and when something on my bike breaks.

PHILOSOPHY

The level of screwed-up-ness of the world should not interfere with your making it better.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can meet you for a drink, show you around town and such, currently I can't provide a couch/other sleeping surface, because I stay with my parents, but I hope I will be able to do so in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films: Breakfast on Pluto, Wristcutters: A love story, Hunger, J'ai tué ma mere, Fried Green Tomatoes, Away we go, Book of Kells, Monsters Inc. etc. Either shocking touching movies or just movies that make me smile. And they usually need to have a really awesome central character. ^^ I like most of animated films.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to knit (a bit, I can make a hat or a scarf and such things) and I know how to make bracelets out of strings, I play guitar (nothing too advanced, the ordinary chords and some intermediate picking), bass guitar, I know a bit of HTML, CSS and Python.

I'd love to learn almost any new language (currently German is on op of the list), that also includes programming languages. I'm open to pretty much anything.
