About Me

From hardworking idealist to enjoying life - (perhaps writing a treasure map on the way...)

ABOUT ME

Curious, playful artist and community builder. I'm engaged by what people are genuinely passionate about, eager to understand and support. The outdoors do a lot of calling and I try to get better at answering:) I speak many languages, try and find connections where they are not expected. Sketchbook keeper. Amateur musician. Game Developer. Devoted to nature, warm human connections and ready to bring more excitement into my experiences.

PHILOSOPHY
Be passionate about whatever you do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I try being as welcoming and/ or socially adaptive as possible. I'm used to carsharing, woofing and woof hosting, hitchhiking, community organizing and all kinds of sharing social agreements.

I've couchsurfed in a number of countries across northern europe, the US and west africa, as well as hosted travellers whenever I could, though usually through word of mouth rather than online.
Unusual success story? Couchsurfing host turned business partner!

Interests

Special nature spots, meaningful games, wooden ships, alternative communities, sea swimming, natural building, good books, handmade instruments, curious flora and fauna, good friends, happy horses, yoga and clever word twists, contemporary dance, hash hot chocolate, mind boggling conversations, sillyness and more random crossings of life...

Teach, Learn, Share

Too many stories. From living on an 80 year old two mast ship run by an international community, making environmental games, building a clay house, or the odd encounter with a belgian beer importer hitchihiking in remote Norway.
I can also be a good listener. Especially with pen and sketchbook in hand, and I'm happy to leave you a few drawings if you wish:)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A happy cook and masseuse trainee in my spare time, I love to make myself useful.
