ABOUT ME
Hi. My name is Mithun. I live in Bellevue, WA about 12 miles east of Seattle. I've lived in the area for about 2 years now and like it here. I'm still discovering the city, and I love the laid-back, international vibe here. I'm excited about meeting with, and making instant connections with people, and forming lifelong friendships. I love the "hippy"-ness of the Courchsurfing concept, and I'm eager to try it out. I believe in co-existing peacefully, protecting our world, and being kind to one another, so there's a hippy element to my personality as well. I enjoy movies, wine, cooking and checking out events in the city. I look forward to seeing new places, meeting new people and learning more about myself.
PHILOSOPHY
It is said that when you put your cake batter in the pan and stick it in the oven to bake, the transformation from dough to cake only happens in the last 10 minutes. That is for the first 40 minutes or so, the dough is still dough and is being transformed at a very fundamental level. I see my life as a piece of dough, slowly being baked into a light, airy, wonderful piece of cake.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am fairly new to the Couchsurfing community and I look forward to being involved actively going forward.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been to a couchsurfing house party for Halloween 2010 and it was a blast. I met a lot of friendly people, and with the costumes and everything, the conversation just flowed. For the record, I was dressed as a Zombie cowboy, with fake blood and burnt skin make-up.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing I've seen in my lifetime is how easy it is connect with a fellow human being. All it takes is a smile and a teeny-tiny bit of empathy. This is something I marvel about all the time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a couple of really good soup recipes, which I'd be more than willing to share/demonstrate. I'm very good with MS-Excel, so I'd be happy to be of help on that front as well. My English is very good, so I can practice with a person beginning to learn the language.
