About Me

Hey there! I'm Alvar and Student of the northest Art Academy in Germany. I'm living in Kiel for 2 years and I really appreciate its tiny and atmosphere. My three Sisters also live here and I'm a family dude. But nevertheless I'm not a "village idiot", I really enjoy to get to know new places and to meet new people. The communicative character of the art study influences me in the way of dealing with new people. There are People from 18 to 45 and from a lot of different countries, which has a great Impact to my character.
Therefore, most of the time I'm at the studio or somewhere at the art academy. But I also love skateboarding and anything that has to do something with a board (wakeboarding, skimboarding, longboarding and recently I tried kitesurfing). Me having a board can't be bored!
Another passion is music. I play piano (classic and jazz) for years and also the saxophone. I used to join the orchestra and played in two other bands with the saxophone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said, I'm curious to meet new people. Classic reason.
Additionally showing someone a city as a resident is always better than doing the typical tourist program!

To put it in a nutshell couchsurfing is a great opportunity to combine these things.
