About Me

Hey, I'm a former Brazilian Navy serviceman. I recently left the Navy to travel the world, and the first place I chose to spend some time is Scotland, as I have always been passionate about this country. My mode of travel is through volunteering exchanges with Worldpackers, and my plan is to eventually reach Southeast Asia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that my mission in the world is to absorb as many cultures as possible and to share as much of mine as I can in different places. I am on Couchsurfing to make these connections with travellers from all over the world and to be able to host them in my home when I return to Brazil.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I really like various styles of rock, especially alternative, classic, and indie rock. I also enjoy classical music a lot; my favourite composers are Bach and Tchaikovsky.
Cine: My favourite films are those based on true stories or that offer a significant life lesson, such as Dead Poets Society, Captain Fantastic and Into the Wild.
Books: I truly love Harry Potter and other fiction books, but I am also a big fan of detective novels and even books on economics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't had an incredible life so far, but I helped fight deforestation in the Amazon rainforest and created a support and donation group for low-income communities.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really enjoy teaching mathematics. I don't think anyone I know here does that, but one of my strengths is how completely I commit myself to helping someone. That's why I love learning new things and new skills—services to help anyone who needs it. This is my love language, and my greatest satisfaction is seeing someone happy to have my help.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can bring some Brazilian cuisine to your home. I'll buy the ingredients, and we can have dinner to chat and exchange stories. I can also take care of and walk pets, plants, and help with household cleaning.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Colombia, England, Paraguay, Peru, Scotland, Spain, Wales
