About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To form profound and subtantial connections with people and nature.
ABOUT ME
I believe traveling is more than leisure and souvenirs. Getting to know the world around me, connecting with people while respecting our beautiful planet is part of my purpose and mission. I also hope to inspire others to travel and take from these experiences.
I live just outside of Boulder, Colorado. It is a beautiful place with really pleasant weather and the nicest people you'll ever meet. I work in the Business Marketing and Publishing field, which I am very passionate about. When I'm not working, I like to spend time with family, friends and I really enjoy being outdoors. I'm so lucky to live surrounded by a loving family, great friends in a place where there is a nice culture and many outdoor opportunities.
I also enjoy painting, drinking fine (and not so fine) wines and laughing uncontrollably amongst good company. Having meaningful conversations is important to me as it provides me substantial growth and the chance to directly contribute to the ideas of others.
Above all, I am fascinated by life's endless possibilities.
PHILOSOPHY
We all have the ability to constantly evolve our perspectives and enlighten our minds. The most amazing thing is to return to a familiar place and view with a whole new outlook.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I participate by being a part of win-win interactions.
Interests
My interests are always evolving. Right now I'm focused on living an active lifestyle, eating good food, and meeting new people. I enjoy hiking, staying fit, musical events, art, and trees.
Music, Movies, and Books
7 Habits of Highly Effective People(Stephen Covey), "The Alchemist" is another classic book I should read again. Fabric of the Cosmos(Brian Greene). My favorite music is any music that sounds good and has a message I can identify with. I don't watch many movies but I like them. :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This trip has been amazing. Oh, and I tried whale meat in Iceland, which was less amazing and more salty.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you're interested in learning how to cook any American or Mexican food, I'm your guy :-) I seriously love food and I should be highly overweight but somehow I'm not. I have skills and efficient tactics I've developed in my pursuit to live more with less. I think of myself as an outside thinker, I like to come up with alternative solutions to everyday challenges. I enjoy being a go-to person for information on current events and global topics.
