About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission in this life is very simple, only enjoy each day doing what I like. I enjoy travelling, meeting new people, listening music, reading books, sharing stories with another travelers, and taking a walk around a city or taking pictures to nice landscapes.

ABOUT ME

I could say a lot about me, but in a few words, I could say that I'm from Argentina, photographer, and music and traveling are my life. I already have traveled through many countries of Latin America, Europe and Asia. And now I'm planning my third big travel around the world again.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a quiet person. I'm vegetarian, and besides I empathize with buddhism and taoism thought, but I'm not a religious person, I just try to be a better person every day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some friends told me about this site and I started to use it in 2013. My first experience was in Netherlands and since then I had a lot of great experiences in Europe and Asia. I've met a lot of amazing people around the world thanks to CS!

I love: taking pictures, listening music, composing songs, playing piano, guitar and drum. Writting lyrics, stories, and screenplays for short films. Watching movies and series. Being in touch with nature. Spending time with friends, playing football. Traveling and knowing other countries and cultures, meeting people and making friends anywhere. Music, Movies, and Books

Books: My favorite author is J.R.R. Tolkien. I have read three times the trylogy, two times The Hobbit, The Silmarilliön and almost thirty another books of Tolkien and another authors writing about him. I also read the Harry Potter saga and I think they are really great books (although I can't say the same about the movies). Besides this, I like to read about buddhism, history, geography, psychology and about how to live better.

Movies: The Lord of the Rings (Peter Jackson), Mystic river (Clint Eastwood), Los lunes al sol (Fernando Leon de Aranoa), Los amantes del círculo polar (Julio Medem), El viaje de Chihiro (Spirited away) (Hayao Miyazaki), The pianist (Roman Polanski), La double vie de Veronique (Krzysztof Kieslowski), Dekalog (Krzysztof Kieslowski), Lilja 4-ever (Lukas Moodysson), Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (Michel Gondry), Notebook (Nick Cassavetes), Eyes wide shut (Stanley Kubrick), Stalker (Andrei Tarkovsky), La vita e bella (Roberto Benigni), The shawshank redemption (Frank Darabont), Fried green tomatoes (Jon Avnet), Cyrano de Bergerac (Jean-Paul Rappeneau), Dead poets society (Peter Weir), Cinema Paradiso (Giuseppe Tornatore), The bow (Kim Ki Duk) and a lot more!

Music: Uf! I will complete it later when I have more time! I really enjoy every kind of music, from The Beatles, Alan Parsons and Supertramp, and Nick Drake, to tradicional chinese music, k-pop, classic music, dance, folk, celtic music... almost everything (except reggeaton and some other commercial latin music). In this last time, the most that I listen is korean music, like T-ara, After School, Yozoh, Kim Yoon Ah, Jaurim, and many many others!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not sure what to say here, I have a lot of memories of amazing things that I've done, but maybe something amazing for me is something very simple for other person. Anyway, maybe one of the best things that I have done was acting in "There be dragons" movie, like an extra (in some scenes that were filmed in Argentina). It was a great experience with a lot of nice people and famous actors and the director Roland Joffé! Another amazing experience that I remember is to cross from Colombia to Panama across the sea, in a little boat.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you spanish or maybe how to play the guitar (well, at least if it's possible in a little time). Maybe I'm not "professional", but I'm musician since I'm a child, and I have played in a lot of bands and I have recorded four own albums with my own songs. I'm photographer too, so, maybe I could give you some tips to take better pictures, or to teach you how to edit pictures or videos on the computer.
