My name is Álvaro Vélez. I was born in Córdoba (Andalusia) but latest years I have lived in Madrid, Brussels and Barcelona.

I have just finished a one year round the world trip with my friends Guillem Ruscalleda and David Aguilar, but before this traveller life I used to be partner in 2 internet startups placed in Barcelona (related to Architecture and Travels).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love couchsurfing as its a great way to know locals from the cities I visit; and normally they are the best way to find out about special places in those cities.

Interests

I love cooking, and moreover, I love eating. One of the reasons of this travel is to try out different meals around the world.

Know locals and traditions of the places I visit is another of my passions. I am really curious!
