About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel as much as possible.
ABOUT ME
I believe in finding what really passions you and still in the process. Sometimes extremely slow to do anything. Non-strict vegetarian. Fond of beautiful cities, big trees and bridges. Currently I want to combine Neuroscience and Philosophy, but literature has been always my strongest interest.
PHILOSOPHY
Life: You have to take it seriously. To me that means that one has to be very sensitive in order to be able at some point to transcend one's particular conditioning (even though you are always bound to it). There's a close link between real freedom and consciousness. Only what is new is truly yours, so effort is a very interesting possibility in human condition.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just joined, but I always hosted people I didn't know(friends of friends) in my hometown and temporary addresses and stayed with strangers on many occasions even without knowing this net. Think it will be good to continue this on a more structured basis.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I first came to Leuven to request admission at University, I got in touch with several people. At the end I stayed with a incredibly friendly couple and got to meet a very interesting musician that knew everything about the place. Later on, when I arrived to settle down the first week I met some of the potential hosts I have contacted that week, I recognized them from the profile pictures, it was funny to go and ask "are you in couchsurfing?". About the couple and the musician I am still in touch with them and expect to meet them evrey once and then while staying here.
Interests
One of my passions in life has been Europe (and currently will be, at least for the next three or four years) and another one, still developing, are languages. I speak English and French and a bit of German. Recently some Danish and I still can try some bits of Dutch. Things that interest me are literature (mostly XIX century and early XX), music (the so called "world music"from balkan and flamenco to african rythms or cuban salsa, clasic and jazz, some rock and punk specially British bands in 80s and 90s). Science and philosophy... Love to meet people. Love to eat and try new dishes. Religion, mind, everything related to consciousness...

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything of David Lynch, Kurosawa, Kubric, Jeunet& Caro, Camus, Dostoievsky, Mann, Bergson, Merleau-Ponty and many others. Love some old English bands (after many many years I can still listen to the Smiths without getting tied of them, same with Siouxie and the Banshees and even The Cure). Love music with fast tempo to which one can happily jump around...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Travel for 13 months in Europe.
