About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore and have fun doing so :) and help others whenever I can
ABOUT ME
Although I'm a true nature lover, I somehow ended up becoming a Metallurgy Engineer (Dealing with metals). If I could go back to my highschool years, I would try to become a Vetenary. I hold nature and animals very dear.
Stating that, I also have to say that I do like sports that involve nature. When in college, I was the head of one of Turkey's best Mountaineering and Climbing Clubs, ITUDAK. Meanwhile I taught windsurfing in summers in Bodrum.
I love music, chatting, sharing experiences, but if I must be explicit, I prefer being the listener. :)
PHILOSOPHY
I think having a philosophy in life is somewhat a Hollywood fairytale. But some principles are; respect each other, don't intentionally harm anyone, support others whenever it is possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am from Turkey, a country with a very fragile economy; what I earn could be considered a fair amount two decades ago. Right now our currency is worthless and as an experienced engineer, I earn very little when exchanged. So my bold answer is, it is because it's cheap. But on the side, getting to know someone while visiting a completely different part of the world, and having the chance to experience a culture, guided by a local is priceless; I know that because what I can provide in places I lived are very much so.
