ABOUT ME

I love to eat and wish I had two hollow legs, rather than one. I love to laugh and have a good time. I am easily amused and easy-going. I love to learn. The greatest part about that, is that I'll never be bored. I love to be in nature. I also love cities and people and good music and art. I am just as happy reading a book, as I am being rowdy with friends. Good stories thrill me. Life thrills me. I don't know how people can be bored- there's too much to see, do, and learn.

Hiking, traveling, being, learning, reading, living, cooking, tasting, listening to good music, biking, sitting around on a hot summer day with a cold beer, playing bones, cribbage, and other games, good wine, art, friends, culture(s), yoga, markets, gardening, the middle of nowhere, going to museums, libraries, etc, and being a general nerd, swimming, diving, ridiculousness, ......dinosaurs, animals, stuff I don't know about yet, records, red chili, green chili,....snap! I could go on forever.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Can't name just one, so here's a few!

Hiking the Sierra Negra Volcano on the Isle de Isabella in the Galapagos on New Years Eve. Then drinking and dancing salsa and meringue and skinny dipping in the only village on the island until dawn.

Taking a marshutka into the middle of nowhere and then walking 4 km to a gulag museum in -30 C. Then back.

Tajikistan and the Pamir Highway.
