About Me

CURRENT MISSION

experiencing, understanding and enjoying with open mind, body and heart

ABOUT ME

Hello all -

I'm from Decatur, GA (in atlanta), but have been living in the SF Bay Area for the past three years. Currently am on a road trip with my friend Hannah!

We started in Durham, NC at the Full Frame Film Festival & have now worked our way down south to New Orleans to work/frolic at the French Quarter & Jazz Fests - will eventually make our way back to California.

Some things about me:
I love being outdoors and with people, riding my bike, drinking great beer, reading/writing, making art and playing my ukulele. Sharing new experiences with people and exploring the world (near and far) is what life is all about for me.

PHILOSOPHY

Positive energy is infinite - accessing it, creating it, and sharing it selflessly is what I strive for. I believe we are all connected in more ways than we can understand.

Sustainability of the community, the environment, and the body are interconnected ... to create peace, justice, and health we must realize the connection of these things to each other. It really only takes a few people to create change and to make a difference.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have both surfed and hosted. I have met so many generous people - and have made a point to extend my generosity to the weary traveler in return!

I have specifically surfed in Amsterdam and Oahu, & have hosted travelers from all over (Namibia, Germany, South Carolina, Seattle, and more)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I love couchsurfing because it's a great way to make new connections, share ideas & inspiration, and be immersed in a genuine context of culture and place!

Interests

outdoor activities, growing your own food, literature, music of all kinds (and playing it with other people!), photography, art, thrift shopping/finding hidden treasures, skipping, swimming, biking, dancing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

many many stories from living in spain and traveling - sunrises on the beach in barcelona; traveling in morocco - exploring the old medinas; walking the streets of berlin with beer in hand, checking out all the amazing street art and visible history; meeting and making friends in each place!

lots of little adventures up and down the california coast (beaches, hot springs, redwood trees)

biking to the north shore, camping out in Oahu, Hawaii

sailing from guatemala to mexico!
