COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed many a couch, but not officially through this website. Since making my house in Traverse City available to couchsurfers, I've hosted a handful of great people and look forward to more this coming summertime.

Interests

Love me some good quality food! I'm a foodie who owns a local foods market in Michigan. I sell local produce, locally made foods, and homemade goodness. I work with 50+ local farmers and sell their produce raw or prepared in my in house commercial kitchen.

I feel free when I'm on my bike and could ride for days. I can usually be found doing something that consumes energy as I seem to have an abundance of it. I like being active, playing games, and working on projects.

Simple things make life wonderful -- Let's forget about the distractions.

Music, Movies, and Books

I DJ weddings on the side, so I have a vast musical collection. I don't usually listen to the stuff I play at weddings...because I'm listening to the likes of electronic infused grooves, motown, soul/funk, reggae, dance grooves, world music, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunsets over Lake Michigan are pretty epic. Visiting the International Flower Market in Amsterdam left me in awe after seeing how 75% of the world's cut flower supply flows through one warehouse.
