I love working with kiddos and teaching them about the natural world! I've spent the past three years living between New Zealand, Canada, and Australia working primarily as an outdoor educator and backpacking/canoe instructor for young adults. I’m currently really into rock climbing and ceramics!

Things I enjoy...good podcasts, the beach, cribbage, cards, soccer, good wine, sunset hikes, dark chocolate, & kombucha!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the idea of exchange and reciprocity. Although I've been living on the move the past three years, I lived in Sydney, Australia long enough to host a few friends and friends of friends at my apartment and show them around the city! It was amazing to learn about what brought them to Australia and it felt so good to finally be able to return some of the hospitality I've received from complete strangers...now friends while traveling!
