ABOUT ME

Well, lets do the generic stuff first. My name is Alyce, I am a 23 year old who lives on the south side of Brisbane. I have also lived on both the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast.

I enjoy spending time with nature, either in the bush or on the coast. I don't mind a crazy night out or a lazy night in. Either one suits me fine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I was living in my own place, I was fortunate to host a few CSers. I loved the experience, and found it both educational and enlightening. After having a family member fall ill, I had to move and offering up a couch or more than a friendly travel hint to fellow couch surfers became to much. Time has healed much, however, I am still not back living in my own house, and am residing with the parentals and unable to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had a few CSers stay at my place while I was liv ing on the Gold Coast.

I love that every time you host someone new, the experience is totally different!

Music, Movies, and Books

I have quite a few books, and would not mind swapping some of my books for other books, so that you can take a new book on your travels. Most of my books are fantasy, but I also have a wide variety of other books.

I have a love for all things Disney, and also collect DVDs so have lots to watch if you just want a quiet night in.

I enjoy listening to most music, I am really into the chilled out trance stuff though. Be warned though, I would not be able to have a conversation about music, and tell you artists, I just love listening to music when ever I have the opportunity to. Music can change your moods in a split second that is why I find it so powerful!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have traveled around Australia when I was younger and did so many amazing things, I even riped my pants while sliding down Ayers Rock on my bum :D

I have been swimming in crystal clear water with giant turtles swimming around me, at the top of WA.
Climbing all over Devil Marbles and finding a spot on top of a huge boulder watching the sun rise and set.
Been bathing in hot springs with thousands of bats flying around.

I have also experienced many more wonders that Australia has to offer.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am trying to learn Poi at the moment, and even though I am not that good at it yet, I can try to teach you a bit ;).

Languages really interest me and I would really like to learn to speak a second, third and forth language XD.
