This profile is really for two people - Alycia and PJ - since we always travel together. We are two fun and youthful women from Canada, ages 39 and 40, married for 10 years. We have a diversity of interests including travelling (obviously!), meeting new people, BOARD GAMES!!!, listening to house music and going out to hear DJs, trying new food, swimming and visiting beaches, enjoying meaningful conversations over a few drinks, researching, learning and trying new things. We are also very responsible and professional, despite our youthful looks! Our politics are to the left, we are gay/queer/LGBTQ positive, feminist, social justice and equity minded. We love electronic music, especially house, and enjoying going out to hear DJs. We also love 80's pop, 90's alternative and even oldies. Our favourite genres are sci-fi and fantasy. We are giant Lords of the Rings nerds (we want to live in the Shire). We love listening to podcasts, especially science and social science topics.

We adopted my (Alycia's) nephew when he was 8 and we've been raising him since. He is 15 now and such a great kid.

We can teach board games, English, things about Canada. PJ can teach the art of relaxing and Alycia can teach the art of energizing! PJ can also teach fencing if you happen to have a sword, and Alycia can teach you how to swim.

We love to learn almost anything, anything with art, anything with tools, new languages, new games, different subjects, local history, different cultures, religions, recipes or cooking, anything you can think of we want to learn!

We are huge board gamers and we always travel with games so we would love to teach and play games with you! I (Alycia) am also an aspiring hair stylist and travel with my hair cutting scissors, so if you want a cool haircut you are in luck! I am also very experienced with hair colour so if you buy bleach or hair dye I can give you a super cool new look (just check out our photos - I do both our hair!)
