About Me

Hello World!
I'm a young woman from California in my early 20s looking for adventure! My goal is to see as many countries as I can before I turn 30, and search for what I believe is the most beautiful place on Earth. In the process I love meeting fellow travellers and building life-long relationships with as many genuine people as I can along the way. If we become friends, and you were kind enough to open up your home to me, I will absolutely return the favor! Anyone who hosts me is welcome to come stay with me here in the Wine Country of Napa, California. I live in a beautiful place that I love sharing with others!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my opinion, the best way to travel is by roughing it with the locals! I love that Couchsurfing makes it possible for travelers to meet and explore new places with locals. It makes it easy to meet awesome new people, go on affordable adventures, and it's free. As someone who has been prevented from traveling due to money barriers, I love that Couchsurfing has made it so much more possible for travellers to find a haven, without breaking their bank.

Interests

My passion is photojournalism and travel photography. I want to explore, and document some of the most beautiful and culturally rich countries in the world! I also love the great outdoors, music, and dancing.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a massive nerd, so listing all my favorite books, movies, and music genres would take far too long! Please inquire if you're interested and I'd be happy to share them with you.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the hardest and most amazing things I've done was walk 28 km in 6 hours, along a railroad in the rainforest of Peru to reach Machu Picchu before nightfall. I had no flashlight, and was quite literally racing the sunset so I wouldn't be caught in the rainforest at night, alone. I've never walked faster or been more physically exhausted in my life! The stunning sights I witnessed as a reward were life altering.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Great conversation, stories, and quite simply a fierce passion for discovering the most beautiful place in the world!
