I'm a young woman from California in my early 20s looking for adventure! My goal is to see as many countries as I can before I turn 30, and search for what I believe is the most beautiful place on Earth. In the process I love meeting fellow travellers and building life-long relationships with as many genuine people as I can along the way. As someone who has been prevented from traveling due to money barriers, I love that Couchsurfing has made it so much more possible for travellers to find a haven, without breaking their bank.

One of the hardest and most amazing things I've done was walk 28 km in 6 hours, along a railroad in the rainforest of Peru to reach Machu Picchu before nightfall. I had no flashlight, and was quite literally racing the sunset so I wouldn't be caught in the rainforest at night, alone. I've never walked faster or been more physically exhausted in my life! The stunning sights I witnessed as a reward were life altering.
