Hello!

We like to be active while traveling and doing lots of adventure sports. We love (long distance) hiking, snowboarding, diving, etc.

We have enjoyed meeting people across the globe and immersing ourselves in the local cultures.

We are hoping to add many more countries, experiences and friends to our lives!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're currently traveling but have hosted people in the last few years, just not on couchsurfing.

Aly has hosted one person on CS but the person has deleted their profile.

Interests

We both love being active; we are avid hikers, snowboarders, etc. Dane has played guitar since he was 15 and is now teaching me (Aly) how to play the guitar as well.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to reasonably list. We're very open minded and willing to listen and watch anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We've lived in some amazing countries and traveled to many place that have enriched our lives so much.

Canada and New Zealand have been great for hiking and seeing mountains.

India has touched us with its vibrant culture, kind people and amazing food. Nepal offered us astonishing glimpses of the highest mountains in the world.

We've ran marathons and went skydiving, surfing, abseiled our way into caves, marveled at glow worms, ...

We've cycled across Cambodia, joined a Muay Thai gym in Thailand, motorycled across Vietnam, etc.

We've done some amazing things and looking to keep adding more!

Teach, Learn, Share

Dane will be able to teach you guitar. Aly can teach you some Dutch phrases.

We both love learning new languages and are learning how to speak Spanish. We would love to learn some local phrases and learn more about the culture of countries we visit.

We both enjoy spending time in the kitchen and love Asian cuisine. We'd love to learn how to cook more local dishes.
