About Me
Hello all! I'm currently living out of my Subaru Outback and traveling the US/Mexico. I grew up and was living in Boone, North Carolina up until 8/21/2018 when I left to pursue a life on the road. I hope to eventually find a community somewhere in the Southwest I can call home and go back to school in. I have my Associates in Arts, but would love to go for my Masters in Archaeology. That's the plan anyway, but we all know plans tend to change! I enjoyed being outside, seeing new places, meeting new people, and I didn't know where I wanted to move so I figured this path may just be the one for me. I've traveled from North Carolina through Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Mexico, New Mexico, Arizona, and now California! I'm really enjoying this experience so far and am looking forward to many more lovely times
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While living out of your car is as glamorous as it sounds, a couch, a community, and potentially a shower are always welcome! Plus I never want to pass up a chance to meet a new friend because there are so many incredible people out there to meet! I also know that locals always know the hidden gems of a place.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music and finding new artists- right now I’m really enjoying Bluegrass, Oldtime, Funk, Folk, and most anything else I can get my hands on.
I’m currently reading Walden by Henry David Thoreau. Some favorites of mine are The Book of the Hopi, To Say Nothing of the Dog, and the Tony Hillerman -Leaphorn and Chee series.
My favorite movie is Empire of the Sun
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One time I hiked the Camino de Santiago in Spain- That was pretty amazing
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to share in experiences with hosts! Good conversation is so wonderful! I’m always willing to help out with things around the space or any projects the host may be working on! I worked in a kitchen for a while and am willing to put that to work( though it was mostly flipping eggs so if that wows you, I’m the guest for you)
I enjoy photography and can take pictures of people if they so desire.
I kiiiiind of know stuff about tile ( worked in a tile store for a bit) and can share the meager knowledge I have.
