How to pronounce Kapaona: (Kap-uh-OH-nuh) it's Hawaiian!
I'm originally from Meadville Pennsylvania, USA and moved to Redding California, USA in 2016 to pursue ministry school where I also met my now husband David Kapaona. We have one boy with down syndrome named Kainoa, one baby boy named Judah and a little girl on the way. I am adventurous, I love to love on people, I'm creative, and always up for traveling in any way. I desire to see more of the world and experience all sorts of different cultures.
I am a licensed cosmetologist (hairdresser), I love teaching and interacting with and loving on children, I love just about everything that has to do with art, painting, writing, I really love photography (some pictures in my profile pictures area), I love playing guitar and singing with my husband, we are outdoorsy people who love to hike and swim and explore and do daring things like skydiving or paragliding or cliff diving (but have yet to try).

In this next year or so we plan to sell everything we own and move to Vietnam as expats so that's gonna be one of the craziest adventures we've ever had but we are very excited. We'll also probably do other traveling in our lives and I've heard great things about this community so I thought I'd join and give it a try.

I really am into almost all music. I just don't prefer super heavy screaming music or classic rock (though I can tolerate that one). My favorite would be indie rock or contemporary R&B.
I don't really have any favorite movies but my favorite genres would be Rom-Com, action, Sci-fi, dystopian fiction.
And some of my favorite book genres would be Young Adult fiction, dystopian fiction.
